| Val Lampkin is a very experienced face painting teacher. She has taught all sorts of groups from after school care, to women's groups in inner city areas wanting to learn, to safari parks wanting to set up a professional booth. She has demonstrated at the first Face Painting International Convention in Orlando in 2002, was again in 2003. She picked up the Design Masters Trophy in Orlando that year.Val has demonstrated at two British conventions, as well as helping organise the Scottish Face Painting and Juggling Convention. She is consistantly encouraging and supportive of new painters, as well as setting challenges for the more experienced! She was also the Scottish F.A.C.E. representative for two years. Val has also held national contracts for face painting that have sent her working from one end of the country to the other. Classes can be at an assortment of venues to suit yourself, and training is done in small groups, or on an individual basis. Your own kit can be used, or materials supplied . Classes on 3 levels, beginners covering safety, hygeine, good practice as well as face painting technique intermediate, clever brush work, developing your blending techniques.Working on a corporate level. advanced, being creative! Advanced blending .Advanced brushwork, including working with sable brushes,eg. fast effective roses using a double loaded technique and a flat brush. Working with face structure. Playing with colour. Giving you the skills to be creative " on the spot" and give the children their own choices. Classes can also be tailored to your requirements, for example safari park.All classes come with manuals you can keep, so you can practice and remember points covered. All classes also come with free large dose of sense of humour, and a chance to ask questions and work on specific things. Ideas demonstrated are things which work in a real working enviroment. |
